Commodity Market Analyst/Advisor

 

Job Description: 

 

The Money Farm is a commodity advisory service working with clients throughout the agriculture industry. Our goal is to provide risk management strategies to our clients. As a commodity market analyst/advisor, you will work closely with our team to formulate strategies to benefit our clients.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

• Develop understanding of futures and cash markets to advise clients.

• Collaborate with The Money Farm Team to meet client needs and analyze market movement.

• Communicate market insights through our market commentary. Written daily after markets close along with other weekly market updates. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to create grain marketing strategies in our Managed Bushels program.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Ag Business or Ag Finance background preferred.

• Minimum of two years related work experience.

• Series 3 not required and will sponsor.

• Strong understanding of farm business practices.

• Specialized knowledge of grain marketing and risk management.

• Knowledge of market analysis techniques and trends. Including fundamental and technical analysis.
